How to get to Walela Healing Arts

From the Central Valley/Jamestown area:
From Highway 108 East turn left onto Jamestown Road (just after you pass the traffic light in Jamestown at Rawhide Rd.) Come uphill approximately 2.5 miles to the stop sign at Racetrack Road and turn right. Continue on Racetrack for approximately .05 miles to E. Walnut and turn left. You will quickly come to a “T” intersection at Eureka. Turn right on Eureka, bearing to your right, going uphill till it ends in a cul de sac. As you come up Eureka you will see a sign that says “not a thru street”. At the top of the hill in the cul de sac you will see a row of mailboxes to your right and a street sign that says “Flora Lane”. It also says “private drive no exit” and a wood sign with a hummingbird that says “Walela”. Turn right down the hill onto Flora, and come to the second house on the right, 20556. GO SLOWLY OR YOU WILL MISS IT! Enter the driveway thru either of the green livestock gates that are open and park in front. I’ll see you there!

From Calaveras county via Hwy 49:
Take Hwy 49 South towards Sonora, but turn right at Shaws Flat Road before you come into town. Continue on Shaws Flat Rd. till it forks, and bear to the right at the fork towards Jamestown and Oakdale. You will now be traveling on Jamestown Road. Continue on Jamestown Road until you come to a stop sign at Racetrack Rd. Turn left onto Racetrack and follow it approximately .05 miles to E. Walnut and turn left. You will quickly come to a “T” intersection at Eureka. Turn right onto Eureka and follow it bearing to the right all the way uphill until it ends in a cul de sac. From downtown Sonora via Washington Street
Take Washington Street (Hwy 49) North towards Angels Camp. Just as you begin to leave the downtown shopping district, you will see the infamous “Red Church” on your left as well as a left turn lane at Snell Street. Turn left just BEFORE the church at Snell and follow it down the hill, past Sonora High School, curving to your left. You will end up at an intersection where you can go straight at the stop sign or bear to the right uphill. BEAR TO THE RIGHT and continue on Snell uphill. At approximately one mile Snell has now turned into Racetrack Road, and you will see a sign for E. Walnut. Turn right onto E. Walnut. You will quickly come to a “T” intersection at Eureka. Turn right onto Eureka and follow it bearing to the right all the way uphill until it ends in a cul de sac. On your way up Eureka you will see a sign that says “not a through street”.
